REACHING LECCO CAMPUS
CES 2022 will be held at the Lecco campus of Politecnico di Milano.
Lecco is situated in a strategic position: in the heart of the Pre Alps, at only 50 km from Milan, 30 km from Como and Bergamo, and very close to Switzerland. It can be easily reached through train and bus connections from the nearby ariports of Milano Malpensa (MXP), Milano Linate (LIN) and Orio al Serio (BGY).
From Milano Malpensa airport (MXP)
From the Terminal 1 of the airport we suggest to take a first train headed to Milano Centrale station (every 30 min, travel time 51 min) and get off at Milano Centrale, then take a second train headed to Tirano and get off at Lecco (trains at every 1 hour, travel time 40 min). Alternatively, you may get off from the first train at Milano Porta Garibaldi station (one stop before Milano Centrale) and take from there the train to Lecco (trains at every 1 hour, travel time 1 h).
For those who should land at Terminal 2 (only low-cost flights within Europe), we suggest to reach Milano Centrale station by shuttle bus (ticket counter onboard, bus stop just outside the Arrivals area of Terminal 2).
From Milano Linate airport (LIN)
From Milano Linate airport we suggest to reach Milano Centrale station either by taxi (about 40 €, 25 min) or by shuttle bus (5 €, every 1 hour, ticket counter onboard), then take a train headed to Tirano and get off at Lecco (trains at every 1 hour, travel time 40 min).
From Bergamo Orio al Serio airport (BGY)
From Bergamo Orio al Serio airport we suggest to catch a taxi to the train station of Bergamo (20 €) and from there take a train to Lecco (trains at every 1 hour, travel time 40 min).
Once at Lecco station
Once arrived at the Lecco station you may finally walk to your hotel or to the conference site (10 min). The conference site is at the Polo di Lecco del Politecnico di Milano, whose address is Via Gaetano Previati 1/C.
